ABOUT

STRX PRISM — a sci-fi visor for the natural world

STRX PRISM is a mobile augmented-reality field tool that identifies what is in front of you in real time. Point your camera at an object, a plant, or an animal and the visor reads the scene, returns a confident identification, and layers in context that a plain search bar could never give you: taxonomy, behavior, safety, and translation. It was built for the curious — hikers, naturalists, travelers, students, and anyone who has ever pointed a phone at something and wondered what it was.

The app runs in three modes. Object mode recognizes everyday items and, for living organisms, assesses threat level and hazards so you know whether to step closer or back away. Wildlife mode catalogs animals and plants into a personal journal you can revisit offline. Translate mode reads foreign text through the lens and overlays a translation. Scans are saved to your journal, queued when you are offline, and synced the moment you reconnect, so a trip into the field never costs you a discovery.

A free tier gives you a daily reserve of five scans, replenished every day, with no credit card required to start. Pro unlocks unlimited scans, the full offline journal, and the complete safety library. Pro is available as a monthly or yearly plan with a seven-day free trial, and a one-time lifetime pass can be unlocked with a promo code.

STRX PRISM is built by an independent studio focused on tools that make the physical world more legible. It is designed, engineered, and continuously refined with a single goal: turn the camera you already carry into a visor that helps you understand, catalog, and safely explore everything around you.
